Results were trickling through while I listened to the Chelsea/Man U business on Radio 5 (though god knows why, I couldn't give a shit).

I had total and utter confidence in Everton and didn't doubt it for a minute - probably because I didn't hear that Newcastle had equalised until Lescott scored later on. I hate listening to football on the radio, I can never tell what's going on!

the BBC's "Score" show, but listening rather than watching as I was doing other things. It's not really any better than Radio 5, but is more neutral as they're not covering any one match specifically, and at least they don't keep cutting away to cover the horse racing, or the Glasgow-Women's Frisbee-billiards.
